The Moon Lander is a location only in the Area 17 prison. It is where the Empty Canister is located. The Empty Cannister is 1 of the 4 things you need for the “Alien Technology" escape. You need a Red Keycard to get inside the area it’s located. Once in the room (you'll be able to tell by the moon rock-like ground and the video camera) interact with the front of the lander to obtain the Cannister.
