The Rope is an Item in The Escapists which can be used to scale down walls or tie down other inmates or guards to keep them out of action for a few hours (Note that it has a One-time use on guards/inmates!). This can be useful to disrupt a work schedule, keep an enemy (with a low opinion) from beating you up during something important or to make a hostage out of guards during a prison takeover attempt. Unfortunately, it is a Limited-Use Item, which means that it will degrade every time you use it. It degrades by 25% every time you use it (by going to a lower part of the roof).

Obtaining

Can be bought from inmates, found on their desks or on a knocked out prisoner.
