==Usage==
The '''{{PAGENAME}}''' are used to open [[Multiplayer Door|certain doors]] that lead to places that are unavailable for singleplayer, so the only meaning of it is use it while playing multiplayer — while first player holds the keycard on the keycard lock, second goes in and presses the button that opens the door, and then all other players can come in. Most of those doors lead to escape methods that can only be accomplished in multiplayer modes (such as "[[Rattlesnake Springs#Take Out The Trash|Take Out The Trash]]" or "[[K.A.P.O.W Camp#Glide To Victory|Glide To Victory]]"), while others lead to areas containing resources for those escapes. When using a keycard, you must make a {{item link|Keycard Mould|alt_img=Keycard Mould.gif}} (for crafting a Fake Keycard, see below) and then put the original card back into the guard's inventory to avoid the [[Lockdown|lockdown]] (and resulting trip to [[Solitary]]) that will be caused when the knocked out guard awakes without the keycard. 

==Obtaining==
{{PAGENAME}} can be found (not always) in specific [[Guards|guard]]'s inventory, like the {{item link|Keys|alt_img=Key te2.gif|disp=keys}}. There are more than 2 Keycards in the game, but only the red and cyan ones can be found.

'''Fake Keycards''' are crafted. Unlike [[Plastic Key|Plastic Keys]], Fake Keycards do not have a durability and can be used infinitely. They function as a normal Keycard, and must be used by the player(s), as a lost Keycard triggers a lockdown just like a lost Key.
==Instructions==
In most maps, the person who’s talking in role call has the red key and the cyan keycard. To make a '''Fake Keycard''', first make a [[Keycard Mould]]. Just like with a normal [[Keys|Key]], you need to put the keycard back into the [[Guards|Guard's]] inventory after the mold is made, to avoid a [[Lockdown]]. However, if the [[Medic|medics]] do bring the guard to [[Infirmary|Medbay]], do not hold on to the cyan keycard or put it in your [[desk]] ([[Guard Dogs|dogs]] can find the real keycard). Put it outside where the guards patrol or if possible right in front of the Infirmary to ensure shorter lockdowns.
