Usage[edit | edit source]

The Keycards are used to open certain doors that lead to places that are unavailable for singleplayer, so the only meaning of it is use it while playing multiplayer — while first player holds the keycard on the keycard lock, second goes in and presses the button that opens the door, and then all other players can come in. Most of those doors lead to escape methods that can only be accomplished in multiplayer modes (such as "Take Out The Trash" or "Glide To Victory"), while others lead to areas containing resources for those escapes. When using a keycard, you must make a Keycard Mould.gif Keycard Mould (for crafting a Fake Keycard, see below) and then put the original card back into the guard's inventory to avoid the lockdown (and resulting trip to Solitary) that will be caused when the knocked out guard awakes without the keycard.

Obtaining[edit | edit source]

Keycards can be found (not always) in specific guard's inventory, like the Key.gif keys. There are more than 2 Keycards in the game, but only the red and cyan ones can be found.

Fake Keycards are crafted. Unlike Plastic Keys, Fake Keycards do not have a durability and can be used infinitely. They function as a normal Keycard, and must be used by the player(s), as a lost Keycard triggers a lockdown just like a lost Key.
